Too Heavy for the Curb, Easy for Us

An old upright piano can weigh anywhere from 300 to 800 pounds. Trash pickup won't take it, thrift stores usually won't either, and free piano listings tend to sit for weeks with no takers.

We bring the dolly, straps and blankets, carry it out without wrecking your floors or door frames, and haul it away. If it's still in good shape we try to find it a new home first.

We recently hauled an upright out of a garage in Grosse Pointe Woods. Garage, living room or back porch, text us a photo and we'll tell you how we'd get it out.

Old home organs, electric pianos and keyboard stands.

The Rest of the Room

Not sure if we take it? Text us a photo and we'll tell you straight.

Piano Removal Questions

Do you move pianos to a new house?

No. We're not piano movers. We remove pianos you're getting rid of. If you're keeping it, call a piano moving company.

What about stairs?

Stairs add time and need more hands. Text us a photo of the stairs and we'll tell you straight if it's doable and what it takes.

Do you take grand pianos?

Text us a photo and the path out. Grands are a different job than uprights, so we look at each one before we quote it.

What happens to the piano?

If it's in good shape we try to find it a new home. If not, we take it apart, scrap the metal where we can, and dispose of the rest properly.

How much does it cost?

It depends on the size of the piano, how hard it is to get out, and how far we're driving. Text us a photo for a free price range, and we confirm your exact price on site before we lift anything. No hidden fees.
