Careful Crew for Grosse Pointe Woods

Metro Junk & Hauling is Ermis and Eric. We're a small local company based in Sterling Heights, and we work in Grosse Pointe Woods regularly.

Homes in the Woods are mostly solid brick colonials and bungalows with full basements and detached garages. We recently hauled an old upright piano out of a garage here. We also do estate cleanouts, basement cleanouts and furniture that has to come down a lot of stairs.

We do all the lifting, protect floors and door frames on the way out, confirm the price before we start, and donate anything still usable.

What We Haul in Grosse Pointe Woods

Pianos & Heavy Items

Upright pianos, organs, safes and old cast iron tubs carried out carefully. More on piano removal.

Estate Cleanouts

Whole houses cleared respectfully, attic to basement. We set aside anything the family wants to keep and donate what we can.

Basement & Garage Cleanouts

Decades of boxes, old furniture and tools, carried up and hauled away.

Furniture & Appliances

Couches, mattresses, dressers, fridges, washers and dryers. TVs and electronics cost a little extra because of disposal fees.

Not sure if we take it? Text us a photo and we'll tell you straight.

How It Works

  1. 1. Text us a photo

Send a picture of the pile, the garage, or the one heavy thing you can't move. Texting is fastest at (586) 843-7247.

  2. 2. We give you a price range

You get a free quote and a time that works for you. Same day and weekend spots when our schedule is open.

  3. 3. We haul it away

We show up, confirm your exact price before we start, load everything, and sweep up. No hidden fees. You don't even need to be home if you leave it curbside or in an open garage.

Grosse Pointe Woods Questions

Do you serve all of the Pointes?

Yes. Grosse Pointe Woods, Shores, Farms, Park, the City and Harper Woods. See our Grosse Pointe page too.

Can you take an old piano?

Yes. Text us a photo of the piano and the way out, including any steps, and we'll tell you how we'd do it.

How much does it cost?

It depends on how much there is, how heavy it is, and what it is, so one item costs a lot less than a full trailer. Quotes are free and we confirm your exact price on site before anything gets loaded. No hidden fees.

What can't you take?

We can't haul chemicals or propane tanks. Paint and tires are OK. Tires have a small extra charge, and paint depends on the type and how much there is, so we confirm the price on site.

Nearby Towns We Serve

We work all over Macomb, Oakland and Wayne County. If your town isn't listed, text us and we'll tell you if we come out that way.
