Careful Crew for Older Homes

Metro Junk & Hauling is Ermis and Eric. We're a small local company based in Sterling Heights, and we cover all five Pointes and Harper Woods.

Grosse Pointe homes tend to be older and bigger, with full attics, deep basements, third floors and detached garages. That means estate cleanouts, families clearing a parent's house before it sells, and furniture that has to come down a lot of stairs. We take our time and protect the house on the way out.

We do all the lifting, confirm the price before we start, and donate anything still usable.

What We Haul in Grosse Pointe

Estate Cleanouts

Whole houses cleared respectfully, attic to basement. We set aside anything the family wants to keep and donate what we can.

Attic & Basement Cleanouts

Decades of boxes, old furniture and things nobody remembers buying, carried down or up and hauled away.

Furniture & Appliances

Couches, sectionals, mattresses and box springs, dressers, dining sets, fridges, washers, dryers, stoves and water heaters. TVs and electronics cost a little extra because of disposal fees.

Garage & Yard Cleanup

Detached garages, patio furniture, brush and branches, and old fencing.

We show up, confirm your exact price before we start, load everything, and sweep up. No hidden fees. You don't even need to be home if you leave it curbside or in an open garage.

Grosse Pointe Questions

Do you serve all the Pointes?

Yes. Grosse Pointe, Grosse Pointe Park, Farms, Woods, Shores and Harper Woods. Text us your address and we'll confirm.

Can you get furniture down from a third floor?

Yes. Stairs are part of the job. Tell us what it is and where it sits so we bring the right hands.

How much does it cost?

It depends on how much there is, how heavy it is, and what it is, so one item costs a lot less than a full trailer. Quotes are free and we confirm your exact price on site before anything gets loaded. No hidden fees.

What can't you take?

We can't haul chemicals or propane tanks. Paint and tires are OK. Tires have a small extra charge, and paint depends on the type and how much there is, so we confirm the price on site.

Nearby Towns We Serve

We work all over Macomb, Oakland and Wayne County. If your town isn't listed, text us and we'll tell you if we come out that way.
